A Flash for the Playwrights

Postby GaryD » Wed Feb 29, 2012 7:13 pm

An intriguing little competition for any budding playwrights: Write a play in less than 100 words total, including all character names, stage directions etc.

http://www.royalcourttheatre.com/whats-on/100-word-play

Deadline April 22 2012
The 'prize' is getting your play displayed on the wall in the Royal Court theatre

There are plenty of Flash fiction competitions around, but not many for Flash theatre.

Brilliant, thanks Gary. I loved your flash play last night and I have lots of dialogue-only flashes but the trick certainly is going to be getting them down to 100 words including directions... very hard! :)
